Help / Getting started
Add KairosOne to your phone as an app
With an icon on your home screen, KairosOne opens with a single tap, like its own app and without typing the address. It takes about a minute.
-
Open KairosOne in Safari
Open Safari and enter your practice’s address, for example your-practice.kairos-one.com. It is the same address you use on your computer.
Then tap the three dots in the bottom right corner.
Use Safari, not Chrome or Firefox. Only Safari lets the iPhone create a proper web app.
-
Choose “Share”
A small menu opens. Tap Share at the very top.
-
Show more options
The share sheet slides up. In the second row, tap the round button with the down arrow on the far right, View More.
-
Tap “Add to Home Screen”
The list gets longer. Tap Add to Home Screen. If you cannot see it, swipe up a little in the list.
-
Confirm with “Add”
The name is already filled in as “KairosOne”. Leave Open as Web App switched on so KairosOne opens without Safari’s toolbars.
Tap Add in the top right corner.
-
Done
The KairosOne icon is now on your home screen. From now on, one tap opens KairosOne.
The first time you open it, sign in once more, even if you were already signed in in Safari. The app keeps its sign-in separate from the browser.
Older iPhones (up to iOS 18) show the share icon directly in the bottom toolbar, a square with an arrow pointing up. Tap it and continue with step 4.
-
Open KairosOne in Chrome
Open Chrome and enter your practice’s address, for example your-practice.kairos-one.com. It is the same address you use on your computer.
Then tap the three dots in the top right corner.
-
Choose “Add to Home screen”
In the menu, tap Add to Home screen.
Some Chrome versions show Install app instead. Tap it and confirm with “Install”.
-
Choose “Install”
Select Install and confirm. KairosOne will then open like its own app, without an address bar.
“Create shortcut” works too, but opens KairosOne in the browser every time.
-
Done
The KairosOne icon is now on your home screen, sometimes only in the app drawer at first. Long-press it there to drag it where you want it.
You may need to sign in once more the first time you open it.
Samsung Internet: tap the menu with three lines in the bottom right, then Add page to and Home screen.
